"What is most striking when you come face to face with Edoardo Krumm's work is the perception of an extremely intimate and particular environment in a collective context.

In his work the interest for the animate as well as for the inanimate are brought together under the same aegis of human condition. His poetics are typical of his time, inspired by both the close, sometimes synthetic relationship between the individual and his everyday objects, some other time by an analytical relationship between man and his usual social fabric.

A poetics that is directly fixed on the canvas using brushes, colors and those enamels that do not allow for afterthoughts, but require a deep knowledge of the techniques and of the human soul that they set out to celebrate."
